"Hi DC,Sorry missed your call last night.We made the bizarre impulse decision to go for wolf creek pass yesterday lunchtime. We made it but it was a struggle. Freezing cold. It snowed on the way up and there was snow all over he summit. Treacherous icy descent! Stayed in a log cabin halfway down the mountain - middle of nowhere with no phone signal.Just got to Alamosa and stopped for a drink break - first time we've had a signal since Pagosa. Aiming for Walsenburg tonight. Haven't had. chance to see the blog page yet. - sounds great mate. Hopefully there'll be a computer in Walsenburg. I can't belive a) that neither of them have lost any extremities to frost bite (by all accounts it would be a significant loss in Bugsy's case, not so sure Sumo would notice, or b) that neither of them have washed their kit. Am trying not to get down wind of them here in Yorkshire.
