KANSAS

Thursday October 9th, Captains Log. A short message from CT last night;

" We're in Wichita County, Kansas. Which is miles away from Wichita. Entering Central Time Zone now! 2 time zones on a push iron (push carbon in my case)."

I think that just about sums it up, apparently a time zone transition is a bit of a thrill for Transamerican cyclists. Its about all they have to look forward to as they tackle the country's flattest and least interesting state, famous for corn fields and a fantsay tale about a few muppets with no brain, heart, courage etc who go on an unlikely adventure.*

Thanks to all of you who have stepped up to the plate with your charity donations, I would thank you individually but I know that you don't like your giving to be highlighted - you know who you are!

Based upon Chris & Paul's increased use of their camera, we'll start to add some photos on the side of the blog here>. This space is also available for sponsorship ... If you would like to reach the lucrative consumers who are visiting this site (South Wales Government planners, NYC /Brighton Educational Services Professionals, Berkhamstead schoolboys, Keighley tabard wearers etc.), then what better place to see & be seen? simply email me an image or a message and I'll try to post it.

Any photos of Chris or Paul from before their "Famous for 15 mins" moment would also be good fodder for the masses I'm sure. If you want to go direct, you can post comments on any of these entries via the posting link below. Cheers.
